This Day de Dada and Fluxfest NYC 2023 collaboration performance explores, interacts, and experiments with Head and Hand coverings including Bowler Hats - the unofficial Fluxfest uniform. Ongoing performances encourage audience interaction, exchanging accessories, spontaneous wordplay, absurd hat fashion, and impromptu glove dances. Day de Dada Performance Art Collective, founded in Staten Island, NY in 2002, produces events based on concepts of the Dada and Fluxus art movements such as chance, nonsense, and wordplay. Day de Dada performance art pieces are experimental, spontaneous, and encourage interaction and audience participation.
