This walking sculptural installation brings awareness to how we interact with people in our community dealing with intense loss and the mental fog of mourning. In this performance the artist draws influence from the veils of grieving mothers and widows that come before. Wearing a black veil to hide their intense feelings they walk slowly through public spaces. The soft sculptures falling out of the rear of the garment represent these feelings and the impossible task of hiding them.
