French Worker Style Jackets printed with images of French, German, and American actors, landscapes and scenes associated with films from the 1960s and 1970s, and Existentialism. Some examples of film references include: Last Year in Marienbad, Le Samourai, McCabe and Mrs. Miller, with actors such as Dephine Seyrig, Alain Delon, Warren Beatty, and others. This is a performance-based work, like a mobile painting show, with no fixed location along 14th Street.

Sally Apfelbaum is a mixed media artist based in NYC, with a strong interest in public art. She received a 2023 NYSCA Grant to create paintings related to her neighborhood in the East Village. Her new work reflects her interest in world affairs, fundamental human behavior, and style.
